For immediate release:
SACRAMENTO, CA – Assemblymember Michelle Rodriguez joined members of the California State Legislature in signing a letter to U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer regarding the Fiscal Year 2026 Homeland Security Appropriations Act.
“I’m proud to stand with my colleagues in rejecting the current, dangerous 2026 Homeland Security Act,” said Assemblymember Rodriguez (D-Ontario). “This funding bill goes beyond necessary public safety measures and continues the extreme overreach of the federal government.”
